Summer set with shorts
A white summer set made of cotton broderie anglaise — a top and shorts with openwork leaf embroidery. The corset-shaped top has a square neckline, voluminous lantern sleeves with elasticated cuffs and a zip at the back. The high-waisted shorts have a relaxed A-line cut, a scalloped hem and a zip at the back.
Wear it as a set in the heat, on holiday or for an evening walk — with sandals or ballet flats. Separately, the top goes well with jeans and the shorts with a basic T-shirt.
Composition: 100% cotton.
Care
Caring for natural fabrics requires special attention and a careful approach to preserve their appearance and quality. Here are some basic recommendations:
1. Washing
- Temperature: Natural fabrics such as silk, linen, cotton, and wool are recommended to be washed at a low temperature (30-40°C) or even by hand to avoid shrinkage or fiber damage.
- Detergents: Use delicate detergents designed for natural fabrics. Avoid harsh bleaches or products containing chlorine.
- Washing mode: Choose a delicate mode if you use a washing machine, or it is better to wash by hand to reduce the friction between the fibers.
2. Drying
- Drying: Avoid drying in direct sunlight to prevent color fading. It is best to dry things in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct contact with heaters.
- Position: Lay the fabric on a horizontal surface, especially for heavy fabrics such as wool, to avoid warping.
3. Ironing
- Temperature: Choose the appropriate ironing mode for each type of fabric. Silk and wool should be ironed at a low temperature, and linen and cotton should be ironed at a medium or high temperature.
- Moisturize: Use a steam generator or fabric humidifier when ironing, especially for linen items, to avoid creasing and keep the fabric smooth.
4. Storage
- Protection: Store natural fabric products in a clean and dry place using special garment covers to avoid dust and damage.
- Shoulders: For heavy fabrics such as wool, use shoulders with soft padding to avoid deformation of the shoulder area.
5. Additional tips
- Cleaning: If stains appear on the product, remove them immediately, following the instructions for the specific fabric. For example, it is better to give silk to dry cleaning.
Following these recommendations will help keep things in excellent condition and keep them looking luxurious and sophisticated.
